DOLPHIN TALE

Character of the movie:

·         Sawyer: He was a quiet and hommie boy until he found the Dolphin.

·         Phil Holder: He lets Dr. Clay manage the place in his own way and he will pay the operational.

·         Gloria: She is realistic.

·         Reed (Dr. Clay’s Father): He always knows the best for his son.

·         Mr. Doyle: Realistic the rule until he knew that Sawyer has the best lesson than his lesson that he gave in class.

·         Hazel: Nice, and obey the rule until she met Sawyer and help Sawyer sneak up the lab without know by her father.

·         Winter: she was quiet and hard to understand until she met Sawyer and her spirit come back.

·         Dr. Clay: he didn’t agree with Sawyer’s suggestion because he was too realistic until he admit the listening others are important.

·         Phoebe: She is nice husbandry.

·         Dr. McCarthy: He like trying something challenging and almost give up when everything he did was failed.

·         Lorraine (Sawyer’s mom): Selfish as a mother.

·         Kyle (Sawyer’s cousin): Give up when he has a broken leg because he thought everything is done if he has no leg until he meet Winter and make him awake from weakness.

SYNOPSIS : Dolphin Tale is inspired by the amazing true story of a brave Dolphin and the

                      compassionate strangers who banded together to save her life. Swimming free, a young

          Dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her tail. She is rescued and       

          transported to the Clearwater Marine Hospital, where she is named Winter. But her

          fight for survival  has just begun. Without a tail, Winter’s prognosis is dire. It will take 

          the expertise of a dedicated marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics 

          doctor, and the unwavering  devotion of a young boy to bring about a groundbreaking  

          miracle that might not only save Winter but could also help scores of people around       

          the world.

Introduction: Sawyer hates school. Sawyer is a mechanic, because he loves machine. When her 

          mother registered him to summer school, they hated it. He went out ride bicycle 

          and dropped by onthe shore, he found a dolphin trapped. Sawyer sneak up the lab and 

          finally being a best Friend of winter. Winter’s tale have to cut and Sawyer and Hazel 

          look after her all day. Sawyer’s mom knew that he didn’t go to school all week, his 

          mom was so angry, but Finally let him to spent his summer vocation with Winter.

Climax: Marine Hospital almost bankrupt and the storm makes everything worst. Beside that,

              Sawyer had a bad news about his cousin who almost broken also. He never want to

              go home because he thought he is done if he has a broken leg. Dr. McCarthy gave an

              advice and nex Kyle go home. Sawyer asked Mr. McCarthy to make a take tale for 

             Winter. He tried everything but winter still don’t want her new tale. They almost gave

             up and Marine Hospital doesn’t have money anymore.

Conclusion: When everyone gave up, Sawyer met a stump little girl same as Winter come 

                     from Atlanta just to come to see the Dolphin. And it makes Sawyer has a 

                     brilliant idea to make a show and introduce Winter to the whole world through 

                     website and also his cousin Kyle helps him with promote Winter in a Bay news 

                     9, the famous news channel there. But, Winter still don’t want to use her new tale

                     until Sawyer know the problem is about the stock. So, when the they comes,

                     Winter Enjoy her  new tale and gave a wonderful show in front of many people

                     and it helps Marine Hospital cause the sale has been canceled but work together.

Language Expression:

·         It’s a tweet bird

·         You cut it free?

·         How did you get in here?

·         I thought I go early today

·         Take care son

·         Make me a promise!

·         Maybe a little later

·         Have you got a telephone?

·         How long is she been here?

·         You don’t talk much, do you?

·         Just keep on eye with those kids, alright?

·         That’s okay, I’m good.

·         Sawyer is her mom now!

·         What am I suppose to do with that?

·         I don’t have a choice

·         The early bird gets the worm

·         Catch my time?

·         It’s not why I sent someone tp the moon

·         Can I catch a breath for a minute before you boom bar me with a question?

·         No one in a right brain will put a tale on a fish, lucky I’m not.

Comment in the movie:

·         1. The movie is inspirational for a reason, therefore, it’s usually telling a story of someone making 

           the best out of  bad situation.

       2. This movie certainly captures her amazing spirit.

·          3. This movie offered so many wonderful lessons. It thought a valuable lesson about not giving up    

t           the fact you may have a disability it doesn’t mean you’re broken. The movie focused on the 

            positive aspects of homeschooling instead of the negative. It showed that learning is fun and that 

            focusing on a child’s passion for something is sometimes all that is needed to get them excited 

            about learning.
